Certification FAQs
CCMS is an integrated self-service platform that manages all IIA certification programs. Candidates use it to apply, register, monitor certification status, complete annual CPE, communicate with the Certifications Support Team, and download or order certificates.
Certification renewal opens on 1 October and must be completed by 31 December each year. Failure to renew results in Grace status, and certifications may be revoked after two years.
Certification renewal fees vary by region, membership status, and whether payment is made directly through CCMS or via the local Institute. Please consult IIAB for fee details.
Certifications move from Active to Grace if renewal is missed. After 24 months in Grace, certifications are revoked and require reapplication and retesting. Discontinued certifications cannot be recertified.
